Christmas time is even more magical at Mahekal.
With activities and special dining options, there's memories to be made while you celebrate. Our team is excited to welcome you with many activities, including:
- Ceramics painting classes
- Salsa dancing and live music
- Fun holiday activities for the kids, including cookie decorating and meeting Santa
- Participation in a traditional Posada, a reenactment of the nativity, with walking and singing
- A Christmas Eve party with piñata, appetizers and cocktails
- A 6-Course Christmas Gala Dinner

Mahekal's New Year's celebration makes space for relaxation, restoration, food, and fun as we say goodbye to 2021 and hello to 2022.
Activities include:
- Outdoor Movie Nights
- Sunrise Yoga
- Paella on the beach
- Fresh fish caught and served on the beach as part of our "Catch of the Day" event
- A New Year's Gala with music, cocktails, dancing, piñatas and a 6 course meal
