Important Update from Mahekal
Dear Friends of Mahekal Beach Resort,
In our ongoing efforts to keep you informed of developments at Mahekal Beach Resort during these ever-challenging times, I wanted to share new updates. Every decision has been made after careful thought on how to best keep our guests, staff and community healthy and safe, always following expert advice and guidelines from Federal, State and Local leaders as well as the CDC and WHO.
Mahekal Beach Resort has temporarily suspended operations as of April 4 2020, and will remain closed through the end of May, with a scheduled reopening on Monday, June 1, 2020. This was an extremely difficult decision to make as we love hosting guests and providing our staff with meaningful work on a year-round basis, however our first responsibility is to support the health and well-being of our team and each of you, our valued guests. Our dedicated reservations team is working remotely and graciously managing adjustments to existing reservations while accepting new bookings for late spring, summer and future dates. We look forward to sun-filled days ahead surrounded by Mahekal´s natural beauty with our lush gardens and beach.
Please note, this temporary pause in resort operations also includes our restaurants, bars, spa, fitness center and all on-property activities.
Mahekal Beach Resort has welcomed guests for many years and our mission remains the same – to open our doors again and be that special, magical place for friends and families, couples, weddings, honeymooners, dining, beach and spa experiences – all of those experiences that have sustained our hearts over the years.
In closing, our Mahekal family and team joins me in sending you our very best wishes. These times are particularly difficult for so many individuals and industries especially travel and hospitality. As we weather these uncertain times together, we thank you for your patience and understanding and look forward to welcoming you back soon to create more memorable experiences with the special people in your lives.
Please take care of yourselves, stay in touch and be well.
